Cutting Corners versus “Doing It Right”
Remembering Valuable Lessons Learned

Tough economic times cause a myriad of problems for even the best of companies.  Economic uncertainty can cause even veteran professionals to race toward budget cuts and “do more with less” mandates. But, through the service calls and installation requests we receive every day, we see the consequences of these choices. So, we’re raising an important question: Does cutting corners really pay off or do you wind up paying more in the end to rectify problems?

Every day we help clients with complex projects – moving a business, upgrading business communications, IT and security systems, building a data center or renovating a retail space, for instance.  And, when we encounter the “we have to do it cheaper” mentality - and the all-too-frequent project problems and cost overruns that result from it - we remember three valuable lessons we learned decades ago:

1) Planning and orchestrating all the “moving parts” of a complex project makes all the difference;

2) Use only professionals who are experienced in doing this – and don’t skip lesson one;

3) Doing it right the first time is always the most economical and effective thing to do.

In good times or bad, we are here to help you make your business better. So, what’s on your priority list that is causing you to worry about “doing it right the first time” - but you’re living with budget constraints? Let’s have a conversation to discover ways we can help you orchestrate a success despite the limitations.

Contact us – ask for Bob – and let’s talk. If we have a discovery meeting with you before September 1st, you will be entered into our drawing to win a $200 AMEX gift card, so call now.
